What is worth writing about

Corrections, above everything. A museum closes a wing for restoration, a bus route moves, the entrance to the Belfry changes, the boats stop for the winter. If you have just been and something here did not match, that is worth more than any amount of desk research.

Especially useful: anything about arriving (the trains from Brussels Airport, the station and the car parks at the edge of the old town), which is the part of this guide most likely to go stale.

What this is not for

It is not a booking service. This site sells nothing and books nothing, and cannot get you a room, a table, a Belfry time slot or a seat for the procession.

It cannot tell you what something costs or when it opens: no price or opening time appears anywhere on this site, because the operator is the only source that is right on the day.
